Support

Real support, direct from the person who builds the app.

Recurring Issues for Jira is built and maintained by Jacob Haskins. If something isn't working, or you're not sure how to set up a schedule, get in touch — you'll reach the developer directly, not a queue.

Get help

Open a support request — no account needed, and you can track its status. I aim to reply within one business day, and usually sooner.

Prefer email? support@recurringissues.app reaches the same place.

What to include

To sort it out on the first reply, it helps to send:

  • Your Jira site URL and the project involved.
  • The schedule you set up — recurrence, dates, and options — and what you expected to happen.
  • What actually happened, including any error message or the date an issue should have been created.

Before you write in

Many "how do I…" questions are already answered here:

  • Documentation — setup, every recurrence type, and troubleshooting
  • Frequently asked questions
  • How to create recurring issues in Jira
  • Scheduling the 2nd Tuesday / Nth weekday
  • The last business day of the month

Reporting a security issue

For anything security-related, raise a request with "security" in the summary, or email support@recurringissues.app. Either way I'll prioritize it.
